Frequently Asked Questions

To save you some time with any queries, here are some of the more common question that I get asked.  If you cannot find an answer here please do not hesitate to get in touch and I will respond as quickly as possible.

Q.  Can I bring multiple pets to a shoot?
A.  Absolutely, you just need to make sure that full control over them can be maintained at all times.

Q.  Can I book a studio shoot and a location shoot together?
A.  Yes you can, however each shoot will be separate and be charged for appropriately.

Q.  Are the packages restricted to what is advertised?
A.  In some circumstances the content packages can be altered, but this may incur extra cost in some cases. Your choices can be discussed at the viewing.

Q.  How long does it take to receive my order?
A.  Under normal circumstances your order will be ready to collect with three to four weeks. This can be affected by weekends, bank holidays etc but I will keep you informed of any delays.

Q.  Do you shoot on a 'time for print' (TFP) basis?
A.  The simple answer is 'no'. I am a professional photographer and I do not work for free.

Q.  Why do I have to pay for the initial shoot?
A.  If I didn't charge for the initial shoot I would be spending many hours of my time travelling up and down the region, photographing animals, processing and editing images ... often for nothing.  But remember, you can redeem 50€ of your shoot fee against any of the photographic packages on offer.

Q.  The cost of a printable digital images is quite expensive, why is that?
A.  Once you have bought a printable digital image from me, it is yours to print as many times as you want, in as many different sizes, you can have them framed, put on to canvas, mounted on acrylic or aluminium....the world is your oyster.

Q.  Will I be able to stay with my pet during the shoot?
A.  Absolutely, I insist that you are there, your pet will be so much happier and settled with you around, especially in a studio setting.

Q.  My family would like to be in some of the photos, would that be ok?
A.  Your pet is part of your family, so no problem whatsoever, but there may be space restrictions in the studio as it is only small.

Q.  Is there parking available at the studio?
A.  Yes, there is very limited free parking available for your studio shoot and post shoot viewing.

Q. How far will you travel to a location?
A.  Generally as far as is required.  For a thirty-five kilometre round trip I don't charge travelling expenses, but more than that is charged at 75c per kilometre plus any overnight and subsistence costs incurred.
